NOOOOO!!!

We had yet another house that we were one set of signatures away from buying fall through. It is turning out to be just as hard for us to buy a house as it is for us to sell one.

It doesn't matter - I went back to our warehouse and picked up some building supplies and took matters into my own hands...

A Texas First

I had what I imagine is a Texas speciality (not unlike the Hot Brown for Louisville) for the first time at lunch the other day. The BBQ Beef Stuffed Baked Potato. It was superb going down. After that I didn't feel so great. Can't wait to have another!

And, no, that is not me in the above picture.

I think someone else is TX bound.....

Time for a new feature to the blog. I'm going to start keeping a running total of things I'm missing out while I'm separated from my wife and son.

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. -- 1922-2007

Kurt Vonnegut died yesterday at the age of 84. One of my favorite writers - brilliant satirist and social commentator. He will be missed.

And It Begins...

The move has started. So far it is just me. Stephanie, Charlie and Zappa are still in Louisville.

I moved into the Enclave At Woodbridge yesterday. Only about five minutes from our new office.

Not much else to say as it still just feels like a business trip right now.
